PASSPORT Application Requirements

At 1 March 2009 all applications will be forwarded to Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia, Putrajaya, Malasyia processing and approval. The normal processing time is between 3-6 months.

For fast, please ensure that all documents issued by a notary public, it failed to be certified, then hesitated only with their use.

All applications submitted for lost passport must be a thorough investigation of Malaysia Jabatan Imigresen before it can be considered a substitute will be provided. The passport is an important document must be in the custody of the holder at any time.

All candidates who live in the District of Columbia area, Northern Virginia and Maryland and before the document must collect in person at the embassy.

All payments will be through the United States only for the money payable to the Embassy of Malaysia.
