Billy seems you need a repertoire of over genealogy.
I can imagine, 2 seats, you can use these names. One is the family in the archives of rootsweb.com. Use the advanced search option for the name and put it in the box Yorkshire born or have died. The place is www.genforum.com 2nd Most surnames have their own area, and again there is a search box, you can use.
A good proportion of the population, from here in the Yahoo of genealogy, beginning with the investigation, or simply interested in a coat of arms. Your chances of a collision with a real link here is very low. Specific questions about a person (including the place and time) can be excellent results from those who know the hunting grounds sought.
Good luck

I was in Sheffield, Yorkshire and all my relatives were born and live in other parts of the UK, my mother took many of our ancestors, and some of them look familiar, there is a certain city or town in Yorkshire, where they lived. Why are you interested in them are their parents? If so, how far they go. I will ask my mother, and e-mail.

Yes, one of them, but it was hundreds of years ago.

This is not really an effective tool for genealogical research, you know.
