Should I get a new dog after loss of pet? - loss of dog ecard
My dog died the day after Christmas due to a cause renal failure. Needless to say, I am totally shocked. Even though I know no other dog never be replaced, I wonder if buying a new puppy to help with the grief work. I would like some comments from people who have dealt with similar losses. Thank you.

Grief is something for everyone else. Our dog died last month and thought I did not want to spring book. Yesterday I drove 200 miles to a border collie from the shelter get. It is located between 6 to 12 months, and not the house band - and we have over a foot of snow today and is continuing to decline. But they tried! Remember that dogs are working, but they bring a lot to our lives.
Do not try to replace "your dog - on the contrary, we know that has had on another individual and unlike any other dog. This is both a lot happier!
I believe that Thomas wanted to wait a week to get a dog. The dog will help them overcome their loss and to a new friend with you /
I do not want another dog. I want to leave the comfort grieving process before you by another dog. And I would not and get the same kind of dog. Just wait, it has the same qualities that the other dog.
Give a little time and just go looking for dogs that are available. One does not even get, but if you one, that you can not let go in May then you can find the next love of your life.
Sorry for your loss, loss of a pet is very painful. I have a number of reasons that dogs have taken to buy instead of one and they are usually older dogs, so we do not have much time. But this is my puppy hood broke my heart.
Blessings
Only if you think you are okay with the fact that the other has succeeded Dag and well reoplacing with him
