Why oh Why do the England rugby team have the British anthem and not the English anthem,Land of hope and Glory - england rugby hoodie
This has been bothering me for years and nobody has a good reason why this is so given. They are not the rugby team from England, a British team. Every country seems to be the pride of his country and his people to celebrate not only the head of state. It can be heard praising Nelson Mandela in South Africa!

It disturbs the rest of the country as well!
Why can not maintain their own anthem not with us!
Aaah, a land of hope and glory! I bet after a fall under the spell of fire mighty Springboks 36-0 in Paris, you really need a lot of hope. Perhaps that is intends to save the song:)

Britain is not technically a country. In reality, Wales is a Provence.
Maybe you do not have the voice of South Africa Nelson Mandela, as head of the state of their thinking - that Thabo Mbeki, I do.
To ensure that the English something moves, should England - to sing Land of Hope and Glory, or perhaps Jeruselem.
When the queen Queen of the British Isles ... Explain that people in Aranmore, Inisboffin etc. - or even Dublin.
